What exactly is ESG?

They concern the ethical way of governing a company, such as the transparency and accountability of the leadership towards the interested parties, the rights of shareholders and executives, but also the cooperation with suppliers, employees and customers.

Sustainability is considered a serious criterion in corporate risk analysis, while a company's ESG performance is included in the criteria used by socially conscious investors and financial institutions, scoring accordingly. It is worth underlining that Green Finance and Social/Sustainable Bonds are among the most popular financing tools today. Large private funds will be directed to sustainable financing in the near future, gradually making ESG Reporting mandatory for all companies.
